Job description: TITLE: Python Developer

Responsible for designing and developing data analytics solutions that meet and exceed user’s requirements. Primary responsibilities will be working within the Data Warehouse team and writing ETL scripts to load data into Snowflake cloud data warehouse

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Multiple Development Tool experience (e.g. Matillion for ETL, Beacon, Visual Studio, Appian, AWS SDK for .Net, Git)
  • In-depth understanding of Python programming/objects
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with fellow developers to solve complex tasks
  • Comfortable coordinating tasks with all levels of colleagues
  • Python, C#, .Net Core, JavaScript and Snowflake, Microsoft SQL, and AWS databases
  • Supports applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with design and development of REST API platform, converting web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa
  • Experience utilizing AWS services from .Net, such as S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, etc.
  • Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Continuous Integration/Delivery experience

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years Python development experience
  • 3+ years of Financial programming experience or similar experience in a highly regulated environment such as HIPAA
  • 3+ years C#/.Net Core experience
  • 5+ years SQL Server development
  • 1+ years cloud experience, AWS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microservices experience is a plus
  • Angular experience is a plus, specifically with Angular 6
  • Web Development and Cloud Infrastructure a plus
  • SecDB/Athena/Quartz experience a plus
  • Data Analytics experience a plus
  • Tableau Report Development experience a plus
  • Matillion for ETL a plus
  • Beacon.io experience a plus
