Within JPMC, the AI Research team applies novel AI techniques to the toughest challenges in financial services. We are looking for a developer to help us productionize AI Research projects.
Day to day you will be an individual contributor working with the AI Research leads and your tech teammates to understand their requirements and execute on development. We typically develop in Python and deploy to platforms such as Kubernetes or AWS Sagemaker. We strive to maintain a modern technology stack so the ability to learn and adapt to new platforms is important.
- Experience with Python, Java or other JVM based languages (Groovy, Scala, Kotlin, etc)
- Understanding of modern SDLC tools and practices (CI/CD, Git, Agile, etc)
- Great interpersonal skills and able to interface with a data scientists and quantitative researchers
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
These additional skills would be a benefit though not required:
- Experience with AI/ML tool sets (spacy, numpy, pandas, etc)
- Experience with container technologies like Docker
- Command line proficiency (bash, cmd, etc)
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
