Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Operations, the RevOps Specialist is the resident expert in PROS revenue generation tools and processes, including how PROS uses the functionality within the global Salesforce.com (SFDC) CRM, Gainsight (Customer Success Platform), Marketo (Marketing automation), and Smart CPQ platforms to support related Go-to-Market business processes. Uses an in-depth knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer success business processes to advocate and design changes in either the business practices or the supporting technologies. It is critical that this individual collaborates with and can facilitate discussions between multiple business process owners across the globe, corporate IT analysts, marketing, sales, and customer success organizations to continually improve the effectiveness of the Sales and Customer Success organizations a way that helps meet its business objectives.

The RevOps Analyst is a part of the PROS RevOps Process, Insights, and Operations team. This team is chartered managing day to day operational activities, providing strategic actionable insights to business leaders across Sales, Marketing & CEE departments, and with identifying, prioritizing, and implementing programs and processes in support of the organization’s GTM Revenue strategy.

A Day in the Life of the Revenue Operations Specialist – About the role:

  • Partners with management, team colleagues and user community to implement, deploy and support PROS revenue generation tools, including but not limited to Salesforce.com (SFDC), Marketo, Gainsight, SalesLoft, and PROS Smart CPQ.
  • Works regularly on tool development change requests to coordinate business process changes and translate related user needs into technical and functional requirements which optimize the use of those tools and maintains alignment across corporate and business unit user groups. Conducts user acceptance testing as needed.
  • Liaisons regularly in both informal and formally coordinated ways with all Sales and Customer Success leaders to keep a pulse on current and emerging business user needs.
  • Pioneers’ new analytical methods, tools and systems to continually drive the business forward
  • Builds annual goals and KPI’s for sales and customer success teams. Tracks performance against these goals and KPI’s on an ongoing basis, providing recommendations to management on required actions
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of SFDC and Gainsight functionality and business processes embedded in the application for all user groups across the organization globally. This requires broad knowledge of related sales/sales support processes including, but not limited to, selling, marketing, revenue recognition, demand generation and leads.
  • Assists with business process documentation and Learning Management System content development as standards and processes embedded in our tools evolve.
  • Provides periodic training and day-to-day best practice guidance to across the Sales and Customer Success organization to enhance proficiency with business processes and tools.
  • Analyze the existing sales, marketing, customer success process and provide recommendations as needed
  • Ability to transform process documentation into technical solution specs
  • Responsible for implementing customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions

Required Qualifications – About you:

We are looking for candidates who possess the combination of the following achievements, skills, and behaviors:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or relevant academic discipline.
  • At least 2 years of Salesforce.com and/or Gainsight Admin/super user level experience
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in Sales or Customer Success Operations business role running and analyzing data as it relates to Sales Trends, Customer Retention, Productivity etc.
  • Experience creating intermediate to advance Salesforce.com/Gainsight and excel reports
  • Experience using Salesforce.com Flow Builder is a plus
  • Experience leading user training for innovative technologies and processes
  • Strong organization, time management and business process management skills.
  • Strong level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills needed to communicate information, ideas, and processes to audiences from both business and IT functional roles across the organization.
  • Self-starter with an innate desire to explore (curiosity) and intentionally learn new skills and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for understanding business processes and workflows.
  • Experience in working with cross sectional teams
  • Looking for someone who can pivot and change direction as business dictates. Navigating ambiguity with grace and being simultaneously excellent at execution
