POSITION SUMMARY: An Account Executive is responsible for meeting an appropriate sales goal from a group of “key” accounts, known as a “territory”. It is the Account Executive’s responsibility to develop and maintain a close working relationship between the customer and Sierra Proto Express (as a preferred vendor).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Serving as the primary sales contact for interactions with customers.
- Leveraging relationships and industry knowledge to create or assess opportunities for Sierra Circuits and meeting sales objectives.
- Managing the entire sales life cycle of transactions to ensure visibility into and predictability of the lead-to-close process.
- Developing business proposals and obtaining internal buy-in
- Negotiating and closing business deals with customers.
- Building long-term business opportunities by forming strategic relationships with customers and partners in the industry.
- Working in a team environment and regularly interacting with senior or executive level management.
- Developing complex strategic account plans, which may involve competitive displacements or creative business agreements to meet or exceed goals.
- Meeting or exceeding an annual sales quota.
- Advocating for the customer within the company to ensure customer success.
- Accurately forecasting sales opportunities and keeping our CRM current.
- Protecting company proprietary and confidential information.
- Managing forecasts, pipelines, and predictability for revenue achievement.
- Develop territory and strategic account plans.
- Develops sales pipeline to increase Sierra Circuits market share in assigned territory.
- SFDC opportunity and account management which includes starting and stopping your day in SFDC. Using tasks to drive your daily activity, put notes from calls/meetings relating to opportunities and accounts.
- Any other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales.
- Educate customers of all new SPE technologies.
- Responsible for maintaining a 90%+ customer satisfaction rating with each account.
- Responsible for achieving 100%+ of the sales goal assigned to the Territory.
- May be responsible for supervising one or more administrative assistants.
- Maintain a high level of quality work regarding processing of orders, resolving customer service issues, and communicating with other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or related fields with 5+ years’ experience in technical selling preferred
- Must pass a technical PCB – post training
- VOC (Voice of Customer) training and maintaining a VOC survey for all customers.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to close sales orders.
- Excellent written and verbal sales communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills: Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must have a professional demeanor and able to perform at the highest level in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
