Overview

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Project Manager to oversee projects developed by our business on Salesforce.com and related systems, assist in defining and streamlining functional processes, defining requirements for system implementations, and ensuring the successful delivery of various projects.

The ideal candidate will have wide-ranging skills from process definition and requirements gathering and documentation (both business and technical requirements), strong project management skills to define project deliverables, organize project scope, team and monitor the successful execution of the project to ensure it is on time and on budget.

Duration: Estimated 6 months

Time Commitment: Estimated 20 hours/week

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project definition – scope, deliverables, build appropriate project team/resources and process for execution with key stakeholders.
  • Effectively and regularly communicate status, accomplishments, risks and roadblocks via regular status reporting.
  • Analyze Salesforce data where applicable and make recommendations, define reporting requirements and provide recommendations to leadership on best practices and tools to help management with enhanced visibility and leadership via Salesforce.
  • Assist in the creation of custom tools and applications including identifying potential solutions, researching options and performing gap analysis of requirements against potential solutions while factoring in budget considerations, pros/cons.
  • Effectively investigating, understanding, defining and documenting challenges across various functions in order to provide recommendations for improved processes, potential projects and impact to business.
  • Own the creation, documentation, validation, communication and upkeep of business requirements and their supporting use cases.
  • Assist in prioritization of projects and system issues based on knowledge of the business and impact to the system and various functions.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts, Business Architects, and Product Owners to develop requirements, review solutions and designs, and build enablement and test scripts.
  • Effectively document out business processes using process mapping tools, process step documentation and presenting those to leadership and key stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

  • PMI or PMP certification.
  • Certification in Salesforce Administration, Development or Consultant.
  • Process improvement certification- green belt or black belt six sigma.
  • Extensive experience managing/leading Salesforce projects/implementations and process definition with successful execution of large-scale projects within SFDC.
  • Experience using Visio or other process mapping tools to document complex business and technical system processes.
  • Strong business & technical requirements definition and documentation experience including process mapping and being very process-minded when approaching projects.
  • Advanced understanding of cloud computing, solutions, and the Salesforce product family
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management, CPQ and/or systems integrations.
  • Experience with Accounting Seed or other accounting system integrations a strong plus
  • Proficient in authoring use cases, user stories, business and/or technical requirements.
  • Experienced at collaborating with both business and technical teams; requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, launching and enabling enterprise solutions.
  • Experience as a customer-facing consultant.
  • Strong professional communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask while managing deadlines, perform well under pressure, work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Flexible, creative, highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to produce results.
  • Be sharp, a quick-study, highly detail-oriented, highly process-oriented, highly organized, a self-starter, proactive, analytical, with a strong desire to learn.
  • Outstanding time management skills
