Job description: BASIC FUNCTION: The Senior Analyst – Sales Operations plays a critical role in building best in class customer and market analytics within the Global Sales organization at ADP. As a key contributing member of the Worldwide Commercial Operations team, you will utilize your analytical/technical skills and business acumen to proactively maintain and enhance ADP’s Go-To-Market (GTM) sales planning capability. You will develop and use reporting tools to help the company translate sales strategy and growth objectives into actionable territories, targets, and decision frameworks for our sales teams. We are in search of team members that are self-starters, intellectually curious and have a proven ability to seek out and develop innovative approaches to business problems/opportunities. They partner and consult with Sales Leaders, Finance, Global Compensation, Automation & Market Planning Teams, and provide insights and guidance to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytics to help inform the Company in respect to planning, resource allocation, role design and go-to-market strategy
  • Leverage database querying techniques and advanced analytical skills to identify correlations between diverse data streams that provide strategic direction to company initiatives
  • Proactively maintain, manage, and update Sales Accounts and Territories using CRM system (Salesforce.com) and Territory Management
  • Develop a thorough understanding of key sales data sources and how they interact with one another to produce meaningful reporting and to identify workarounds to address gaps in data, sourcing or dependencies
  • Build analytics and manage inputs and scenarios in cloud-based sales planning app to support annual target setting process
  • Build dashboards in Tableau to proactively refresh and update Sales on opportunity allocation
  • Analyze business needs, sourcing of data and streamlining reporting processes for efficient production
  • Performs ad-hoc sales analysis, manages quick turnaround times
  • Lead analytical role on multi-team projects to bring data to in order to solve complex business problems
  • Build & maintain relationships with Senior Leaders internally

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives, manage stakeholder and client expectations, and self-prioritize
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics or related field
  • 2+ years experience in Sales and/or Marketing Operations
  • Reporting and data analysis responsibilities, project management and building stakeholder relationship
  • Prior experience with CRM platforms (SFDC and similar) and competency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar reporting applications
  • Prior working knowledge of data aggregation and querying (SQL) a plus; Data visualization tool, like Tableau, experience a plus

Requirements
