ABOUT THIS ROLE:

As Senior Manager of SFDC, you will be the operational and technical leader of the Business Systems team for Salesforce applications. You will develop and maintain key components of the go-to-market tech stack, including our CRM and all connected technologies. Your key contribution will be to manage the business administration / configuration of our SFDC solution to help leverage next generation technology and tools to solve business problems. But that’s not all. The Business Systems team will rely on you to help guide sustainable, practical development and scope with our business partners, under the guidance of Udemy’s Senior Director of Business Systems. You’ll be responsible for working with colleagues in Ops, Customer Success, and IT to support our Sales GTM technological needs.

This role reports to the Sr Director of Business Systems as an extension of the IT leadership team.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Own and drive the tech stack roadmap for Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Resellers and other GTM efforts. You will partner with the Operational Leaders to project manage all new integrations and tool implementations for the GTM teams.
  • Own the technical roadmap and standards, including Security & Sharing Model and DevOps process, working closely with Salesforce Platform leaders for Marketing Cloud, Sales & Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud and Integrations.
  • Contribute to the creation of reusable tools, processes and technology built on the Salesforce platform to be consumed by product teams.
  • Build, and execute a strategy to deliver world-class systems and tools optimized for the full customer journey.
  • Integrate SFDC processes into IT and Business governance and security around the current Salesforce platform.
  • Build and configure APEX class, triggers, visualforce pages, and lightning components.
  • Applies Salesforce knowledge in workflows, design, and CRM platform. Performs hands-on configuration, maintenance and development as needed.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies that will lead to further optimization or increased productivity.
  • Understand Salesforce platform capabilities and product roadmap and identify relevant opportunities to improve system performance and functionality.
  • Works closely with different Leads to ensure implementation of key initiatives, post-production support models and processes.
  • Partner with the change management process to build a clear organizational understanding of the proposed changes, establish key stakeholders and keep them informed and aligned, and deploy new products, services, and enhancements.
  • Partner with Enablement to develop training and deployment plans focused on user adoption and realization of systems.
  • Manage a team of BSA’s, technical professionals, providing guidance and support of ongoing projects, day-to-day application support, and future state project planning. Support Onshore & offshore teams.
  • Be the escalation point for projects where you will support and manage escalations while working with technical leads and business partners.
  • Leads and directs work of the technical team following Udemy’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework and processes.
  • Supervises the timely resolution of defects
  • Works with deployment leads and IT teams to manage and prepare for solution readiness, data cleansing, data migration, and training.

We’re excited about you because you’ll have:

  • Ownership of the go-to-market & Customer Success tech stack in prior roles (responsible for selecting tools, implementing, maintenance & support).
  • 6+ years of experience with SaaS cloud technologies, primarily Salesforce (Sales Cloud and Communities) and CPQ+.
  • 4+ Years in Sales Operations, Business Systems/ Operations, Revenue Operations.
  • 3+ Years managing a technical & functional Team.
  • Experience administering SFDC configurations, SFDC integration with eSignature tools like DocuSign.
  • Experience leading large transformation projects (I.e Lightning migration, launching custom Apps, Integrations with major systems like NetSuite, Workday, Gainsight, Marketo, Enrichment tools, etc.).
