About the Team The Enterprise Data Services organization in Business Technology takes pride in enabling data driven business outcomes to spearhead Workday’s growth through trusted data excellence, innovation and architecture thought leadership. The team is responsible for developing and supporting Data Services, Data Warehouse and self service Analytics,, leveraging cutting edge modern cloud data platforms.

About the Role

As Technical lead , you will be leading the Merger and Acquisition projects to integrate Core data management, Data and analytics systems. You will be responsible for driving cross functional impact, design solutions to consolidate/migrate the applications from acquisitions. Having prior experience with GTM and CRM systems like SFDC is very key to this role.The successful candidate will be encouraged to manage multiple M&A projects with competing deadlines to integrate data systems.

About You

Essential Duties:

Partner with Enterprise M&A team to assess systems and impact data services applications and stakeholders.

Design and implement solutions to integrate systems with Workday enterprise applications.

Collaborate with Self service analytic teams to capture data requirements and provide guidance on integration.

Provide effort estimates on technical deliverables Program team to build M&A roadmap.

Work with data engineering and Core data management teams to implement application changes from M&A projects.

Provide technical guidance to engineers on merging core data (Accounts, Contacts, Product and Entitlements) into Workday’s CDM systems.

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of experience in data analytics or Core data management organization delivering data products across multiple functions.

Experience with one or more M&A projects with cross functional teams in a complex environment.

Knowledge of GTM and CRM systems like SFDC is required.

Experience as Technical lead delivering data integration solutions using ETL/ELT or Open source frameworks is required.

Experience working on Core data management systems like Reltio or informatica is required.

Prior experience enabling Analytics from SFDC for GTM functions in cloud environments.

Other Qualifications

Strong experience in one or more programming languages for processing of large data sets, such as Python, Scala.

Working experience with SQl and NoSQL databases. Should be proficient in quarrying data and interpreting results.

Experience working with AWS Cloud Data Services like S3, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Redshift etc.

Ability to create enterprise data models, STAR schemas for data consuming.

Extensive experience in troubleshooting data issues, analyzing end to end data pipelines and in working with users in resolving issues
