Job description: We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starting individual to join our Go To Market Business Systems, UAT Testing team. As a User Acceptance Testing Manager, you will assist with the coordination and management of UAT testing across Thomson Reuters, partnering closely with UAT Leads, Business SME’s, and 3rd party Vendors. The User Acceptance Testing Lead provides specialized consulting activities to business and business system related enhancements and projects, with a regard to User Acceptance Testing. This position will be accountable for the development and execution of testing plans and activities across multiple technologies using Agile/hybrid methodologies and will serve as the UAT testing SME within SFDC capabilities. This position will report to the Business Testing Director.

About the Role

In this opportunity as User Acceptance Testing Lead, you will:

  • Coordinate and Lead Business testing activities across the Lead to Cash/Digital programs
  • Creatine and distribute project plans as they relate to User Acceptance Testing
  • Facilitate UAT Strategy and approach sessions and Test Case creation workshops with business testing SME’s
  • Partner with business and technical scrum teams for story grooming activities
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of appropriate test documentation including Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Requirements, Acceptance Criteria and Test Cases.
  • Partner with 3rd party UAT testing vendors to drive results
  • Drive execution of UAT testing activities during sprint and E2E cycles
  • Proactively work with the business to troubleshoot or provide additional training for issues related to testing (i.e. tools, test case creation, etc.) throughout planning and execution phases.
  • Drive the implementation of standard UAT tools and processes supporting business testing while ensuring consistency and improved quality
  • Manage issue tracking and bug lifecycle
  • Create metrics on defect trends discovered in various testing phases.
  • Track, maintain, and communicate test status
  • Facilitate mitigation planning for any open defects near cycle or project closure
  • Drive identification and implementation of ideas for team and process improvement.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of User Acceptance Testing Lead if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years related experience
  • 3+ years Test Management related experience
  • 2+ years direct experience with SFDC, Sales or Service Cloud
  • Experience working with and leading within a Global Team
  • Experience working within agile teams
  • Experience with full life cycle software implementations
  • Excellent communication skills (Required)
  • UAT testing subject matter expertise
  • Project management skills
  • Business analysis skills
  • Ability to lead in an agile environment
  • Enterprise-wide thinking – able to understand end to end solutions and impacts
  • Ability to work in a dynamic matrix environment and influence groups outside of team to execute efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills (Required)
  • Excellent influence and negotiations skills (Required)
